FAQ

  • Can I order multiple gift boxes to be sent to differen't addresses?
    Yes, add gift boxes to cart and checkout. Leave note that this is a multiple address order. You will then have to send us each address and specify gift message and box for each recipient. Emailed to info@aharvestcandles.com OR Checkout separately for each gift order
  • How long can I leave the air plant in the gift box for?
    Air plants are very hardy and can survive up to 2-3 weeks without water. However, we suggest not leaving air plants in a box over a week (including shipping time).
  • Can I use more than one promo code?
    Currently we only accept one promo code at a time.
  • My package is delayed or lost?
    We make sure your order is shipped out within 1-3 business days. We however have no control over our shipping partner. We do ship USPS and occasionally packages do get delayed in transit. USPS doesn't consider your package to be lost until 15 days after shipping date. We unfortunately cannot do anything until that time has past. After 15 days has passed and your package still has not been delievered you have the option of refund or replacement.
  • How do I get the best burn time out of my candles?
    When burning your candle for the first time you should make sure that you allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container. Typically, 2-3 hours minimum to liquefy the top layer of wax. If wax is not allowed to melt to the edge, it will create a memory ring or tunnel. This will also ensure that you get a more fragrant scent. Repeat every time you light your candle.
  • What items can I use with my coupon code
    Currently coupon codes only include individual candles, it will not include gift boxes, candle sets, or large bulk/wholesale orders.
  • Are your products natural?
    We use natural soy wax produced from American grown soy beans. All candles have a combination of essential oils, and fragrance oils that are phthalate free, no parabens, no carcinogens, mutagens, or toxins. Are wicks are lead and zinc free cotton wicks.
  • My items arrived broken or damaged.
    We package our products very secure, unfortunately sometimes items do get damaged in transit. Please let us know right away. A photo must be sent of the damaged item. After photo is received we will send out a replacement right away.
  • I received a gift but dont know who it is from?
    We ask the buyer to make sure to include who the gift message is from, however sometimes this gets missed. You can fill out the contact form and we will help you out with the name.
  • Can I send my order as a gift?
    Of course! Packing slips are not included if ordering a gift box, only your gift message will be included. If you are ordering candles and would like to send as gift click on leave a message before checking out (on checkout page).
  • How long does it take to get my order?
    All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days (unless otherwise noted). Once shipped you will recieve a tracking number. Generally taking 2-4 business days for delivery depending on your location. Shipping time doesn't include processing time. All orders are shipped from Charleston, SC. (USPS, UPS)
  • I entered the wrong shipping address?
    Please read our policy on the shipping & returns page
  • Can I reuse my candle tins or jars?
    All tins and jars are great for reusing. Place tin or jar in oven at lowest setting to melt remaining wax. Wipe or dump out once melted then simply run hot water in container to remove remaining wax and pop out wick. Wipe clean and reuse for planting, storing, etc.
  • I lost or never received care instructions
    Care instructions are located on the back side of your thank you note. (Tucked inside your gift box.) However if missing you can find care instrucstions on the listing page. Depending on your air plant type you received will determine your care. Care instructions are under CARING FOR YOUR CANDLE & AIR PLANT on listing page. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us. Simply fill out contact form and we will get back to you asap.
  • My package says delivered but I did not receive it?
    Once your tracking is marked as "delivered" the package is no longer under our control. We will do our best to locate your package by contacting your local post office. Most USPS locations do have GPS locators and can look up last scanned GPS location. Often it was accidently dropped off at your neighbor’s home or hiding on your front porch. We are not responsible for wrong address input, please double check your shipping address before placing order. We also are not responsible for theft; this is something your local police station should handle.
