How long can I leave the air plant in the gift box for?

Accepted Answer

Air plants should not be left in the gift box for more than one week, including shipping time. While they are hardy and can survive indoors for up to 2–3 weeks without water (though this is not ideal), opening the box and beginning care as soon as it arrives is strongly recommended to ensure the plant's health.

Air Plant Care with exception of Xerographica-
Once your plant arrives you will want to soak it in water for 15 minutes. This will hydrate the plant after its journey to your home. Do not put your air plant in soil or let sit in water for extended periods of time. Provide bright but indirect light. Soak your whole plant once a week for 10-15 minutes then gently shake off the excess water and let air dry upside down for a least four hours. Make sure plant is completely dry before placing back in container.

Xerographica Air Plant Care-
LIGHT- Provide bright but indirect light.
WATER- Lightly mist your plant a few times a week.
-OR-
Once a week submerge in water for 15-20 seconds. Gently shake off the excess water and let air dry upside down for at least four hours or overnight. Make sure plant is completely dry before placing back. Do not put your air plant in soil or let sit in water for extended periods of time. Decrease watering to once every 2 weeks during winter months.

My package is delayed or lost?

Accepted Answer

We make sure your order is shipped within 1–3 business days. Once your package is with USPS, however, we unfortunately have no control over delays that may occur during transit.While most packages arrive within the expected timeframe, occasionally USPS packages can be delayed. USPS does not consider a package officially lost until 15 days after the shipping date, so unfortunately, we are unable to take further action until that time has passed.If your package still has not been delivered after 15 days, we will be happy to offer you the choice of a refund or a replacement.

How do I get the best burn time out of my candles?

When burning your candle for the first time you should make sure that you allow the wax to melt to the edge of the container. Typically, 2-3 hours minimum to liquefy the top layer of wax. If wax is not allowed to melt to the edge, it will create a memory ring or tunnel. This will also ensure that you get a more fragrant scent. Repeat every time you light your candle.

Currently coupon codes only include individual candles, it will not include gift boxes, candle sets, or large bulk/wholesale orders.

Are your products natural?

Accepted Answer

We use natural soy wax produced from American grown soy beans. All candles have a combination of essential oils, and fragrance oils that are phthalate free, no parabens, no carcinogens, mutagens, or toxins. Are wicks are lead and zinc free cotton wicks.

My items arrived broken or damaged.

We carefully package every order to help ensure it arrives safely. Unfortunately, shipping damage can occasionally happen during transit.If your order arrives damaged, please let us know as soon as possible. To process a replacement, please email a photo of the damaged item within 7 days of delivery to info@aharvestcandles.com.Once we receive the photo, we'll send a replacement as quickly as possible.

I received a gift but dont know who it is from?

We ask the buyer to make sure to include who the gift message is from, however sometimes this gets missed. You can fill out the contact form and we will help you out with the name.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Of course! Packing slips are not included if ordering a gift box, only your gift message will be included. If you are ordering candles and would like to send as gift click on leave a message before checking out (on checkout page).

How long does it take to get my order?

Accepted Answer

All orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days (unless otherwise noted). Once shipped you will receive a tracking number. Generally taking 2-5 business days for delivery depending on your location. Shipping time doesn't include processing time. All orders are shipped from Charleston, SC. (USPS, UPS)

Can I reuse my candle tins or jars?

Accepted Answer

All tins and jars are great for reusing. Place tin or jar in oven at lowest setting to melt remaining wax. Wipe or dump out once melted then simply run hot water in container to remove remaining wax and pop out wick. Wipe clean and reuse for planting, storing, etc.

My package says delivered but I did not receive it?

Accepted Answer

Once your tracking is marked as "delivered" the package is no longer under our control. We will do our best to locate your package by contacting your local post office. Most USPS locations do have GPS locators and can look up last scanned GPS location. Often it was accidently dropped off at your neighbor’s home or hiding on your front porch. We are not responsible for wrong address input, please double check your shipping address before placing order. We also are not responsible for theft; this is something your local police station should handle.
